Based on his recommendations, I feel like I’m going to down the right path, breaking in at the right age, networking early, getting a good foundation down.

The toughest part of this whole process has been the lack of feed back. I have been trying to tweak the podcast by what I feel I like. The problem is that I don’t like listening to me. So it is basically all shit to me. I finally received some feed back. The consensus is that I start off well then babble. So this week I took a deep breath and really became the producer of my own podcast. I hope you enjoy the results.

Recommendations:It’s a double animation recommendation week!! The hard work of both groups of people create the awesome art that is animation. You really cannot have one without the other. If you are an animation (cartoon and anime) junkie like me, both are well worth your time.

Back from the Emerald City Comicon! I was so sad to leave, everyone I met was so friendly and nice.

Monica and I met Bruce Timm, Marcus To, and Ryan North, all very kind and funny men. Ryan North drew a dinosaur, Marcus To drew a little Tim portrait and Bruce Timm drew a smirking Batman.

There were also a nice amount of impressive cosplayers running around. We took photos with a bunch of them and they were also very nice and eager to pose with us.

It was amazing to meet some of my voice acting gods and goddesses. Kevin Conroy, Tara Strong, Rob Paulsen, John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LeMarche and Jess Harnell were all there, chatting it up with the fans. Bless each one, they were all so kind and patient with every fan that waited in line to meet them.
Monica and I met Kevin first and I was shaking and almost peed. I felt like a small dog.

I met Rob Paulsen twice, the first to get his autograph and the second to take a picture with him. During the second time, after the photo, I cried. First of all, Rob remembered me and secondly, he hugged me when I told him my heart was pounding a mile a minute. It shocked me that I had such a profoundly emotional response to him, but I supposed it makes sense because I grew up listening to his voice and it was like I was finally getting to truly thank him for those characters that made my childhood bright. He has a very comforting daddy personality and was very sweet about the whole thing and hugged me until I calmed down enough to thank him for everything. He treated me like I was his kid and not someone he’d only met for a minute or two the day before. It really meant the world to me to meet him and I hadn’t even realized it until I’d met him.
